Our anti-harassment policy covers all types of behaviour—verbal, written, and nonverbal—that are insulting, degrading, aggressive, or threatening. This includes actions based on race, colour, culture, religion or lack of religion, gender identity, age, nationality, education, abilities, health, marital or parental status, economic background, sexual orientation, and military status.

The policy also includes:

• Comments or actions that are sexually graphic or suggestive.
• Intimidation, whether in person or online.
• Unwanted physical contact, stalking, or taking photos or recordings without consent.
• Unwanted sexual attention, such as repeated flirting or advances.

Harassment doesn’t have to be intentional to cause harm. What might seem like teasing to you could feel hurtful or threatening to someone else.
